Designed by Jean Ferrier, this pendant depicts the shaman as a bridge between the two worlds. The shaman used elementals and the animal and vegetable spirits to cross the divide. Once there, he would gather knowledge and wisdom for the tribe. The size of these earrings is one inch long by ⅝ inch wide. The pair weigh about 8.2 grams. Sterling Silver. Made in USA.

Jean Ferrier
Originally from New York, but settling in Seattle, Jean started her artistic career in 1975 when exposed to Northwest Coast Indian Art. She first studied indigenous art forms and began by carving annual masks and making traditional boxes. For the past 20 years she has moved on to graphic design, including painting on red cedar panels and linoleum block prints with a focus on animals of the Northwest Coast.
