1/4 inch Kangaroo Lace, 27 ft. Hank
This medium grade kangaroo lace is hand cut in our own leather workshop, the first lace cut after a hide is trimmed of the weak belly, flank and leg portions. Cutting lace by hand avoids most flaws and permits more continuous cutting. The lace is square cut so it may be pared to suit the work in hand. The leather is in a high strength bark tannage kangaroo leather, drum stuffed. The medium grade lace is less uniform than our premium quality lace and is suitable for craft projects, jewelry, edge lacing, knots, wrist loops and coarse bolo ties or lanyards. Weight is Heavy (about 1 mm). Color is Natural, a light tan color which will darken with sunlight. Width is ¼ inch. The lace is unstretched and sold in 27 ft. hanks. A 10% discount for lots of five or more balls (assorted) will be given at time of shipment.

Kangaroo Leather
Kangaroo leather is by far the best leather for fine leather braiding. Excess kangaroos are harvested in Australia under programs approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife authorities. The leather we offer is in a high strength bark tannage.
