Nevern Cross Pendant, Sterling Silver
This Celtic Cross was inspired by a cross on the roof of St. Brynach's church in Nevern, West Wales. The cross on the roof is seen with the light behind it, and the radial extensions on the sun circle accentuate the effect of light coming from behind the cross. In this rendition the radial extensions strongly suggest the sun streaming through the pendant. This sterling silver cross is done in bold relief, reflecting the stone of the original. It is double sided, and of substantial thickness (about 2½ mm.) The pendant comes with a 24 inch sterling silver chain. The length of the cross is approximately 1-1/16 inches.
