Bosca Leather Accessories
Bosca was founded in Springfield, Ohio, in 1911 by the Hugo Bosca family. With
strong connections in the Italian leather trade, they import quality leather
and leathergoods, as well as manufacture items themselves to the highest European
standards. Hugo Bosca is a family-owned and run company with a reputation built
on the quality of their products.
The leather used in most of the wallets we offer from Bosca is their oak tanned
Old Leather -- Bosca's finest bovine leather. Oak tanning requires a lengthy
process, more costly than the chemical tanning commonly used today. Oak tanning
shrinks the leather, giving a tighter more dense structure, which stands up
to wear better. Cowhides are hand-stained in Italy and brought to a fine finish
to display the subtle variations in grain and color of the Old Leather. The
shine of the Old Leather is developed through polishing the leather itself,
rather than by applying an artificial top coat, and over time matures to a mellow
matte finish.

Tony Perotti Wallets
Tony Perotti is an Italian leather house offering wallets made from hand dyed,
full grain Italian cowhide, vegetable tanned to tighten and shrink the grain.
The wallets we offer are from their Green Collection, where they have taken
care to ensure their leather is produced without toxic chemicals.
The wallets are made in China in Tony Perotti's company owned and operated
factory, to their specification, with full attention to detail, including turned
edges.

Filson Accessories
Filson was established in Seattle, Washington in 1897 to supply clothing
for the Alaska gold rush. As their place in the market they chose to supply
the best quality available, and did so successfully. From the prospectors and
miners their sales soon extended to the construction workers and loggers throughout
Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. Today, their line of quality products includes
accessories as well as clothing, luggage and hats.

Alligator Leather
We offer an Eight Pocket Wallet
from Bosca in alligator leather. Bosca has these made by skilled artisans
in Italy, who cut each skin individually to ensure optimum presentation of
the unique patterns of the leather. Each item is an outstanding example of
the highest craftsmanship, in both materials and the details of construction,
and will give continuing pleasure over years of use. The leather is polished
rather than lacquered, giving an initial high gloss which develops a rich
natural finish with wear. The insides of the items are in a fine-grained bovine
leather, with turned and lined edges. The leather is farm raised American
alligator.

Fine leather deserves good care. We suggest a light coating of Pecard
Leather Dressing every six months to help maintain the fine appearance of
your leather wallet.
