We have used plastic D-rings in this braided belt. With no metallic parts, the belt is ideal for travelling attire as it can go through security screening at airports without a problem. Sixteen strands of kangaroo leather are braided together for this one and one-half inch wide belt. The natural tan color darkens with sunlight and time. Our own production, hand crafted in the USA.
