We are a Full Service Dealer for Filson. We first sold Filson clothing in 1987,
and our enthusiasm for Filson quality and the number of Filson products we offer
have increased ever since. We are not part of the Filson company. If you are

Why are David Morgan prices lower than those of the Filson
Company?
Filson products are distributed primarily through their dealers (such as us),
where customers can get personal service. Filson does sell directly to customers
to ensure that all of their very wide range of items is available to everyone
everywhere, without undercutting their own dealers. Since we are a small, tightly
run company we are able to offer slightly lower prices on the items we carry.
What is the guarantee on Filson items?
First, there is the usual David Morgan guarantee that you can return any item
on inspection in unused condition with all tags within 90 days of purchase.
Filson also stands behind their guarantee of satisfaction. If any Filson product
falls apart or otherwise proves unsatisfactory, Filson will repair or replace
it. Any Filson product you purchase from us should be returned to us, rather
than direct to Filson for adjustment. We have found very few problems with Filson
goods -- they are put together very well.
What part of the Filson line does David Morgan carry?
We offer a large selection of Filson general purpose clothing and Filson luggage.
Generally, we do not offer Filson's hunting clothing and accessories, nor their
fly fishing vests, nor their Uplander boots, nor a number of their hats and
caps. We carry a wide selection of Filson's Classic Apparel, but very little of Filson's Lodge Collection.

Do you carry Filson Hunting Gear?
Filson makes a wide range of clothing and gear specifically for hunters and
fishermen. We are not hunting and fishing specialists, being interested more
in general outdoor gear. While much of the Filson clothing and luggage we offer
goes to hunters and fishermen as well as the more general market for high quality
goods with enduring design, we leave the specialty gear to shops who serve that
market. But it is reassuring to know that Filson clothing and luggage is being
tested and proven out under some of the toughest conditions all over the world
by people who demand the best.

Do you carry stock in the Filson items you offer?
Yes, the Filson items we offer are generally available for immediate delivery.
We do not stock some of Filson's slower moving colors and sizes in depth (such
as the Extra Long Mackinaw Cruisers).
If we are out of stock of an item, we can normally fill the order promptly (within
a week) since Filson is located in Seattle, just a few miles from us, and we receive stock from them on
almost a daily basis.
Can I buy Mackinaw
jackets in the summer, or feathercloth
shirts in the winter?
We carry stock year round on all the items we offer. If you are headed for Alaska
or the Antarctic in the summer, or Costa Rica in the winter, we can help you
get the proper clothing.
Do you have sales on Filson clothing or luggage?
As with all our goods, our prices are set to give you good value all the time,
and do not permit us to put regular items on sale. Whether you shop online,
through our print catalog or in our retail store, our prices are the same. We
are occasionally able to offer discontinued Filson styles or colors at special
prices.

Sorry, we do not accept special orders for Filson items that we do not offer.
Our online catalog includes all the Filson items we offer, including new items
and out of season items which we are unable to include in our print catalog

Can I have Filson garments custom-made?
Filson will supply custom orders to accommodate sizing variations or different
