Filson was established in Seattle, Washington in 1897 to supply clothing for the Alaska gold rush. Today Filson, recognized for its comfort, protection and durability, is acknowledged as the finest outdoor clothing available, by both men and women throughout the world. Filson's reputation for quality extends to their Rugged Twill Luggage and accessories, living up to their motto "Might as Well Have the Best".

We have carried Filson products for more than 20 years, with emphasis on their general outdoor apparel and luggage. Alaskan Guide Shirt Filson's Alaskan Guide shirt is made from a 7 ounce pure cotton brushed twill. It is a firmly woven substantial fabric which will cut the chill winds and daunt the Alaskan mosquitoes. It is full cut, with two large breast pockets and ample tails. The long sleeves have adjustable cuffs. The plaid patterns are in the Filson tradition. Imported.

Mackinaw Wool Vest A classic design in pure wool for comfort indoors or out, the Filson Mackinaw Wool Vest is made in the USA. The Filson Mackinaw wool cloths are the finest available for durability and appearance. The Mackinaw wools are loomed to Filson's own specifications, using only 100% pure virgin wool from hardy sheep with thick sturdy fibers.

Filson Medium Duffle This duffle, from Filson's Rugged Twill Luggage collection, has a storm flap, two open pockets inside (one at each end), and a shoulder strap. Bridle leather straps and brass hardware.

Whipcord Pants
Filson's wool whipcord pants are tough and long wearing, wind resistant, wrinkle resistant and water repellent. Whipcord is the fabric preferred by many serious hikers and trekkers.

The Mackinaw Field Pants, made from 24 ounce Mackinaw wool, will provide protection against the worst weather.

Cover Cloth Bomber Jacket This is a convenient all-round jacket. Filson's Cover Cloth, imported from Britain, is a tightly woven cotton poplin with an improved wax treatment that leaves the fabric softer and with less of an oily feel than the older type waxed cotton. This 6 ounce fabric provides great water and wind repellency. Filson's Cover Cloth presents British Waxed Cotton at its finest.
